  4.           Xprof interprets an xscope trace to make profiling easier.
  5.            It was announced on/grabbed from comp.windows.x.announce

  7.      This directory contains Xprof and xmeasure.  Xprof is an X protocol 
  8.      profiler which reads an X scope trace to produce a profile of 
  9.      requests made by a client.  Xmeasure is a utility which produces X 
  10.      server metrics used by Xprof.

  12.      Both applications are described in detail in the 38-page paper "An 
  13.      Execution Profiler for Window-oriented Applications", which is 
  14.      included here in the form of the PostScript file, spe.ps.  This file 
  15.      can be viewed either with xpsview, or with ghostview (which is 
  16.      included in this toolbox).
